About Erudo
Erudo is a Slovak non-governmental organization founded in 2015 with a clear mission: to equip young people with the practical skills essential for success in the 21st century. Recognizing that traditional classroom approaches alone no longer suffice, Erudo works to transform education by integrating innovative methodologies - most notably project-based learning (PBL) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) - into the curricula of primary and secondary schools.

About us
At the heart of Erudo’s work is the belief that learning should be engaging, relevant, and geared toward real-world challenges. To that end, the organization designs and implements educational programs that are not only research-based but also practically oriented for everyday classroom use. One of its flagship initiatives, the STEM Academy, has made a significant impact since its launch in 2017. This program has reached nearly 1,000 schools and trained approximately 3,000 teachers across Slovakia, demonstrating Erudo’s capacity to drive change at scale. Through initiatives like the STEM Academy, Erudo helps improve academic outcomes while also building key competencies such as:
- Digital Literacy: Ensuring that students are adept at using modern technologies.
- Critical Thinking: Empowering learners to analyze, evaluate, and solve complex problems.
- Teamwork: Fostering collaboration and effective communication among peers.
Our main programs include:
- STEM Academy
- PBL Academy
- PyCon SK
- EduSummit
